The founders of Queen Jenny’s were inspired by a visit to a small, family-run donkey farm. Witnessing the gentle care given to the animals and learning about the numerous benefits of donkey milk was a revelation. This experience ignited a passion to bring these benefits to a broader audience, while maintaining the integrity and ethical standards observed at that very farm.
While parts of Gujarat/Rajasthan take great care of their animals there is an apparent lack of organized sourcing that can maintain the quality standards, support animals and sell the milk in Indian and international markets. Opportunities are immense and we decided to take a plunge.
